II. Features
1. ABS anti-lock function: adjust the wheel speed of the four wheels to make them all exceed or equal to 20KM/H, step on the simulated brake pedal, the ABS scavenge pump works, the valve needle in the valve body moves, and the four wheel brake indicators on the panel light up at the same time, and the wheel speed decreases. If the brake pedal is not released, the vehicle speed will eventually drop to zero and the wheels will stop running; release the brake pedal, and the wheels will start running again;
2. Conventional braking: adjust the wheel speed of the four wheels to less than 20KM/H, press the brake pedal, ABS scavenge pump does not work, the valve needle in the valve body does not move, the four wheel brake indicators on the panel do not light up and the wheel speed decreases. If the brake pedal is not released, the vehicle speed will eventually drop to zero and the wheels will stop running. Releasing the brake pedal and the wheels will start running again.
3. ASR(Acceleration Slip Regulation) function: When the speeds of the left and right driving wheels are obviously inconsistent, there is a large speed difference (about 10), then ASR works, braking the wheel with faster speed to make the speeds of the two wheels consistent, allowing the vehicle to start moving forward.
4. ESP(Electronic Stability System) function: When a vehicle is moving at high speed and suddenly encounters an obstacle, steering is required to avoid it. Sometimes there is understeering, sometimes oversteering, causing the vehicle to become unstable. At this point, the ESP system actively intervenes to correct the deficiencies in steering caused by human steering.Assuming that other conditions are met at this time:
1) When excessive steering occurs while turning the steering wheel to the left, the system will actively brake the right front wheel to correct the deviation;
2) When the steering wheel is turned to the left and the car is understeering, the system will actively brake the left rear wheel to correct the deviation;
3) When excessive steering occurs while turning the steering wheel to the right, the system will actively brake the left front wheel to correct the deviation;
4) When the steering wheel is turned right and the car is understeering, the system will actively brake the right rear wheel to correct the deviation;
5. Braking: When the system is braking, the wheel being braked will slow down, the speedometer value will decrease, and the brake indicator light of the corresponding wheel will light up at the same time, allowing you to feel the braking effect intuitively.
6. Set and clear faults for each sensor part:
1) Perform fault setting on the brake pressure sensor. At this time, ESP does not work, but ABS and ASR work normally.
2) Perform fault setting on the yaw rate and lateral acceleration sensors. At this time, ESP does not work, but ABS and ASR work normally.
3) Perform a fault setting on the wheel speed sensor. At this time, ABS and ASR do not work, but ESP works normally.
7. ESP switch: Turn off the ESP switch, ESP will not work, and ABS and ASR will work normally.
8. Active intervention running light demonstration:
1) Boost: In a static state, press the active intervention button, and the running light indicates the direction of the oil path during the boost process;
2) Maintaining pressure: Press the active intervention button again, and the running light indicates the direction of the oil path during the pressure maintaining process;
3) Decompression: Press the active intervention button again, and the running light indicates the direction of the oil path during the decompression process;
4) Conventional braking: Press the active intervention button again, and the running light indicates the direction of the oil path during the conventional braking process;
5) Demonstration completed: Press the active intervention button again, the running light will turn off and return to the static state;
9. Signal detection: Use a multimeter to detect the voltage of each signal detection terminal, and use an oscilloscope to detect the waveform of each signal detection terminal;
10. OBD II diagnostic socket is equipped, which enable to use the car diagnostic instrument(Scanner) to read the ABS control unit fault code and data stream.
